Security Details
The Security Details Screen displays a record of your security details, such as your Subscriber Login ID and password. This enables you to log in to Simfonie to perform self maintenance of your details. This screen is displayed during the registration process or can be accessed from the Subscriber Hub.

The following table lists the fields that may be displayed on the Security Details Screen.
Fields may be mandatory, optional, read-only, or not displayed at all according to your operator's preferences and registration requirements.

Login ID
|
The Login ID is derived from your name and last name.
The minimum length for the Login ID is 6 characters. If the length of the combined first name and last name is less than 6, then a random number of characters are generated to make up 6 characters.

Password
|
The password. Displayed as asterisks when entered.
Passwords must:
- Be a minimum of 8 characters in length.
- Have at least one letter with two numbers in the password combination (that is, it must be alphanumeric and it cannot be only letters or only numbers).
- The password cannot match the last 8 passwords; that is, it cannot be the same as the current and previous 8 passwords.
- Cannot be a word defined by your Operator as inappropriate passwords; for example, password.
- The password must contain the following:
- Alphanumeric characters in the range a-z (Lower or Upper-Case) and 0-9.
- At least two numerical characters
- At least two alpha characters

Confirm Password
|
Enter your password a second time to confirm the password entered. Displayed as asterisks when entered.

PIN
|
Enter the PIN code for the Subscriber's Mobile Phone. The subscriber must enter a PIN to be used in the system for security purposes..

Confirm PIN
|
Enter your PIN a second time to confirm the PIN entered. Displayed as asterisks when entered.

Security Question
|
The security question is used to verify the your identity if you forget your password and click the Forgot Password button on the User Logon screen.

Security Answer
|
The answer to the security question.
|
Secret Word
|
The secret word to be used by Simfonie to validate any messages sent in clear text between you and Merchants.
In performing bill payment transactions, you need to provide your secret word when prompted to validate payments.

Note: The fields displayed on this screen and your ability to change them depend on your Operator's requirements.
Maintaining Security Details
You must be logged on to Simfonie to be able to change your Security Details.
- Click the
Security Details hyperlink from the Subscriber Hub. The Security Details Screen is then displayed. - Make the required changes and then click the
Save button to save your changes. You are then returned to the Subscriber Hub.
