Change Payment Instrument Status
Over time, a payment instrument may become Inactive or Closed. Simfonie enables you to change the status of a payment instrument as required. The Change Payment Instrument Status Screen enables you to change the status of a payment instrument.

Change the status of a payment instrument
- Click the
Change Status button from the Maintain Payment Instrument Screen. The Change Payment Instrument Status Screen is then displayed. - Select the new status for the payment instrument from the
New Status drop-down list. The options available on the drop-down list, depends on the current status of the account. - Enter the reason for the status change and then click the
Save button. Simfonie then validates and updates the status of the payment instrument.
